Do I Believe in Karma? Bitch, Absolutely.
I used to wonder how this whole karma thing actually worked, though.
Is it real? And if it is, why do some people behave like complete pieces of shit and still live fabulous lives, while someone else tries their best to be a decent human being and life stays fucking miserable?
Now, if you ask me as a Thai astrologer, I think we need to separate karma into two types.
The first one is easy. It’s the kind most people around the world can understand—the karma you create in this life.
The way you behave brings certain things back to you.
Be a decent person, and decent people are more likely to want you around. Treat everyone like shit, lie to them, and use them, and eventually your life will be filled with people who are perfectly happy to do the same shit to you.
That’s just basic cause and effect.
We don’t need a god sitting somewhere with a little notebook, writing down every shitty thing you do.
But the consequences don’t always arrive immediately.
It’s not like you scam someone today, walk outside tomorrow, and get struck by lightning. That would be a little too much like one of those cheap morality dramas.
Some people do terrible things and continue living very well for a long fucking time.
Meanwhile, the people trying to do good can’t help wondering:
Where the fuck is the justice?
And that brings me to the second type—karma from past lives.
Fuck. Some of you are probably reading this and thinking I’ve completely lost my mind.
Because we can’t see it. We can’t touch it. And we definitely can’t prove it scientifically.
Yes, babes. I know.
Can I remember my past lives? No.
Have I ever seen my old karma walking towards me and saying hello? Also no.
What makes me believe it exists is what I keep seeing in people’s birth charts.
In Thai astrology, everyone is born with a different chart. And that chart is already there from the exact moment you’re born.
Some people arrive with excellent foundations. They have money, opportunities, support, or people who seem to open doors for them everywhere they go.
Some people haven’t even had time to do anything wrong yet, and life is already throwing hardship, loss, family problems, and every imaginable obstacle straight at their faces.
If every life really starts from the same zero, then what the fuck explains that?
To me, a birth chart carries traces of something that followed us here.
You can call it past-life karma, old energy, or baggage from another life. Call it whatever fits your beliefs.
I call it a stamp.
Because certain conditions were stamped onto your life from the moment you entered this world.
Fabulous, right?
And this is what helps me understand why some awful people still live so well.
Why can certain people exploit everyone around them and still be rich, powerful, and perfectly comfortable?
Because the foundations in their birth charts are still working in their favour.
At the same time, some people do their absolute best and still have to struggle, fight, and work much harder than everybody else.
The conditions they arrived with simply weren’t as easy.
Sounds unfair, doesn’t it?
Well, life never fucking promised to be fair.
But wait. I’m not saying that anyone born into hardship must have been a terrible person in a past life. And I’m not saying that everyone born into comfort used to be some kind of saint.
Don’t take the idea of karma and start using it to judge people. That’s not what I’m saying.
The truth is, none of us knows what anyone did in a past life.
I don’t fucking know either.
And your birth chart doesn’t come with a little note saying:
“This bitch stole her neighbour’s chicken in a past life, so now she has to suffer.”
It’s not an invoice, babes. It doesn’t give us that much detail.
What I see in a chart is simply that everyone arrives with different foundations, different conditions, and different shit to deal with.
Some people get a beautiful hand.
Some people arrive and life is already like, “Fuck you in particular.”
But the cards you’re dealt don’t tell you how you have to play them.
That’s the important part.
Your birth chart may show what you came into this life with, what you’re likely to face, or which parts of your life need extra attention.
But it doesn’t mean you should sit there hugging your knees, waiting for fate to happen while doing absolutely fuck all.
You’re still creating karma right now.
You still get to choose whether you learn or refuse to learn. Whether you work on yourself or keep repeating the same shitty behaviour. Whether you use what you have to build something—or sit around resenting everyone who started with more.
Your chart may give you the exam.
But you’re still the bitch who has to take it.
Even if everybody received a wildly unfair set of questions.
So what about the assholes with fabulous birth charts? Will their lives ever go to shit?
Absolutely.
Everybody has their own shitty astrological periods.
Have you ever watched certain politicians while they’re in power? Nobody can touch them. They can behave like complete assholes and still have people surrounding them, kissing their asses.
Then the moment they lose that power, they’re suddenly running for their fucking lives.
Because a good birth chart is not a lifetime membership card that lets you be an asshole forever.
And if your birth chart isn’t particularly fabulous, that doesn’t mean your life is fucking over either.
You may have to work harder. You may need to be more careful. You may have to learn things that other people never need to learn.
But you can still move your life somewhere better than where it began.
Will your life look exactly like somebody else’s?
No, bitch.
I keep telling you—no two lives are ever going to be the same.
But at least you can make yours better than the place where you started.
And when I say I believe in karma, I don’t mean I sit around feeling sorry for myself, thinking, Well, I must have been a piece of shit in my past life, so I guess this is just my life now.
I believe in it because it helps me understand why our lives are so different.
Why certain things happen even though we never chose them.
And why comparing our lives directly with somebody else’s is fucking pointless.
As for the things I can still choose today, I have to make those choices and do the work myself.
Who the fuck else is going to do it for me?
Past-life karma can stamp whatever the fuck it wants onto my life.
But the karma I create today is being written by these soft little hands of mine—the ones that look like they’ve never done a hard day’s work.
Do you guys have goosebumps from how profound I sound today?
Hahahaha. Fuck me, I sound like a life coach.
Anyway, what about you?
Do you believe in karma?
Or have you ever experienced something that made you stop and wonder:
Fuck—is this the result of something I did, or did I bring this shit with me from a past life?
